BGCWF Implements Safety Protocols
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Wichita Falls first priority is the safety of our young people, volunteers and staff. In these uncertain times, Boys & Girls Clubs are the only place some families in our community can turn to when schools are closed.
Effective Thursday, March 19, Club facilities will remain open for now with protocols as recommended by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission to include:
- Restricted entry to facilities
• Pickup and drop-off of children outside the facility
• Temperature taken before entry of all children and staff
• Enhanced disinfection of facility
• Required hand washing
Limits will be placed on the number of young people permitted in each facility as follows:
- Central & Southwest – Maximum of 75 youth members
• Northwest & Southeast – Maximum of 50 youth members
• Rosewood – Maximum of 35 youth members
Information and protocols are evolving on a daily basis. Please know that BGCWF will monitor and immediately follow guidance/guidelines from our local Health District and the TX Health and Human Services Commission.
